What is a virtual visit? This is a consult/health check or sick visit with a NWP pediatrician via video conferencing.
Virtual care creates more convenience for you, and your child get the quality care that you know and trust! We offer scheduled visits with our NWP pediatricians.

Different Types of Telehealth Appointments
Visit Requirements
All telemedicine visits are scheduled, call our reception desk to schedule. We provide visits for:
- Rashes
- Pink eye without fever (ideally over age 3 yrs)
- Allergies
- Mild croup or other cold symptoms
- Constipation/vomiting/diarrhea
- ADHD/Mental health medication follow up visits
- Any COVID 19 related concerns (triage check to see if your child needs to be seen).
suggestions for a smooth telemedicine visit:
- You may use your smartphone/tablet or home computer.
- We will send a link to you for the visit - you will need to complete some questions before the visit.
- Please have good lighting.
- Make sure you have a strong internet connection.
- Please be prepared to have your younger child undressed so we can do a visual exam of their breathing and skin.
- If you are able: please check your child's temperature and weight.
- Please have a flashlight available.
Our virtual visit consent (please read prior to the visit):
- You may refuse telemedicine services at any time.
- Other health visit types are available (in office visit, urgent care, ER).
- All Telehealth visits are confidentially protected and HIPAA compliant. You will be informed of any other people present at either end for the telehealth encounter and have ther right to exclude anyone from either location.
- The parent (if patient is under 18 yrs old) has full access to notes from this visit.
- If an emergency occurs during this telehealth encounter, you should call 911 and stay on the telehealth connection until help arrives.
