We believe that healthy children are the result of healthy families and communities. From well care to sick visits, we offer a full range of pediatric services for children from newborns to young adults.

Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide our patients with excellent evidence-based medical care from birth to early adulthood by building long-term relationships on trust and mutual respect.
We believe in the prevention of disease and promotion of healthy lifestyles and resilience for all children. We practice medicine as a team and value the contributions of all of our staff in providing efficient, cost-effective, compassionate, and committed care during times of health as well as in times of illness.

History of NWP
Northwest Pediatrics was founded by William H Simon, MD, in Enid, Oklahoma, in 1959. Robert D Shuttee, MD joined with Dr Simon to incorporate and officially form Northwest Pediatrics, Inc on December 19, 1968 and NWP's Bylaws were adopted on January 2, 1969. Originally located at 409 E Cherokee, Drs Simon and Shuttee practiced pediatrics providing care to the infants, children, and adolescents of Enid and its surrounding communities for decades.
Pediatric clinicians at NWP who have come and gone through the years include Dr Jerry Razook (1975), Dr John Provine (1976), Dr Keith Wilson (1977), and Dr Michael O'Quin (1990). Dr Robert Shuttee retired from NWP on January 1, 1986 and passed away on January 28, 2018 at the age of 97. Dr William Simon retired from NWP in 2015 and passed away on June 4, 2020 at the age of 90.
In 1997, Northwest Pediatrics Inc joined Enid Clinic Inc forming a "group practice without walls" along with several local family practice groups. Eve H Switzer, MD, FAAP joined Enid Clinic Inc in 1997 as the first female pediatrician at NWP. In 2002, NWP relocated to it's current address at 3201 N Van Buren, Suite 300, in Enid.
With various retirements and moves through the years, Dr Switzer became the sole owner of Enid Clinic dba Northwest Pediatrics in 2021.
